Description
This quaint beautiful rural town is surrounded by acres of county forest land that provides for ample outdoor activities, such as, high adventure rafting, downhill skiing, swimming and fishing in crystal clear lakes or exploring the rugged terrain of Kettlebowl Hill. The vibrant downtown offers great Friday night fish fries, and all the conveniences of modern living. Being close to the heart of Wisconsin allows you access to major cities like Chicago, Milwaukee and the Twin Cities! Please see below for details:
• Hospital: 23 beds, level IV trauma center
• 4-12’s every other weekend: Friday, Sat. Sun. and Mon. 11:00 am to 11:00 pm
• Duration: February 2017 and ongoing
• Patient volume: 15-20 cases/day (patients, inpatients, follow-ups, etc.)
• Patient mix: majority Medicare patients (53.57%), Medicaid (19.04%), contracted payors (22.30%), self-pay (2.06%), worker’s comp (1.83%), commercial (.29%)
• Support staff: RN and EMTs
• Requirements: procedures include simple laceration, fracture care, and evaluation management - DEA license required
- ACLS and ATLS certifications, BLS certification or eligible to obtain
- WI license or able to obtain
