Description
A hospital-based primary care clinic in South Central Colorado is recruiting a Family Medicine Physician for their team. This facility offers: • An annual salary of $155,000 plus incentive bonus and is dependent on experience • A benefits package including medical and dental insurance, paid time off, a 401(k) plan and occupation disability insurance • CE allowance of one week and $3,000 • Relocation assistance of up to $10,000 • Malpractice, licensure, board certification and DEA all covered by the practice • Loan repayment available from federal, state and private programs and is already an approved National Health Service Corps site! A Rural Health Clinic is looking to hire a full-time; board certified/board eligible Family Medicine Physician. The new provider will practice in a traditional outpatient family practice clinic and will see 18-25 patients per day. The clinic has recently been certified as a Patient Centered Medical Home. OB is not required at the site but may be an option if the physician is interested. GI endoscopy privileges may also be available if the physician is adequately trained. The weekly schedule will be Monday through Thursday 8am-4pm and Friday 8am-1pm. Call schedule will be 1:8 for phone call only. There is currently a hospitalist at the hospital so the provider will not need to admit own patients unless desired. Documentation on Electronic Medical Records is required as the clinic has implemented the system. This clinic is not able to support J-1 Visa waiver. The new physician will be employed by the local hospital and will be joining a team of two physicians and one mid-level provider at the clinic. The local hospital is a full service facility with 55 beds providing acute care to the community. Hospital services include 24-hour emergency and trauma services, inpatient acute care, Intensive Care Unit, the Birth Center, diagnostic imaging, surgical services, rehabilitation services, sleep disorder center and a community blood bank. The Health Professional Shortage Area Score (HPSA) for this site is 14 per HRSA.
