Progressive multi-specialty group with a large primary care base, consisting of 200+ physicians providing care in over 20 medical and surgical specialties in multiple locations is recruiting for growth and succession planning and has an excellent opportunity for a BE/BC Orthopedic Surgeon with fellowship training in trauma. The group is affiliated with the regional leader in healthcare and has a regional referral base with a large primary care base to support our specialists.Our Orthopedics group is focused on recruiting specialized surgeons. Currently comprised of a total joint surgeon (who perform approx. 600 joints per year), hand surgeon and 2 sports medicine surgeons, fellowship trained trauma surgeon and a non-op sports med physician. The group is very supportive of the use of APPS to maximize patient care. This outstanding clinical and administrative support staff as well as excellent Physical Therapy support is provided in four different locations in our region.There are opportunities for teaching residents and medical students from Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, as well as the ability to participate in clinical research.
