ITEMS OF IMPORTANCE (REQUIRED)

Average number of ICU patients per physician per day:  10 – 18 (NTICU and half of CCU beds)  

Average number of Inpatient (non ICU) patients per physician per day:    

Average number of Admissions per physician per day:  5 – 10 within 24-hours

Number of critical care physicians in group:  2 hospital employed, 4 private group  

Will other critical care physicians be present during our locum tenens coverage?  Yes  

Will the locum tenens physician be required to supervise other health care providers?  Yes – NPs and PAs  

Will locum tenens be involved in covering/supervising teaching services (residents/fellows)?  Yes  

Total # of beds:  48 critical care beds  
# of ICU beds:  18 ICU, 16 CCU & 14 NTICU beds

Requirements   Board Certified Preferred - will consider Board Eligible within 5 years of residency.
