Adult Outpatient/ Geriatric Southern California - Position Details:

This PACE Program is seeking Primary care physicians for temporary coverage or fulltime positions in the Southern California Area. Physicians must like working with the elderly and have training or experience with geriatric patients. A fellowship in geriatrics is not required but prefer.

Accepting board certified FP or IM with geriatric experience
Don't require fellowship in Geri but preferred or Geri Experience
No hospital credentialing so will be quick credentialing process.
*Beautiful space and facility, completely redone in 2013 when the program started.
Schedule Flexible; Mon-Fri 8 -5
No Weekends***
This will be an ongoing need until full time higher is recruited

Low Volume:
Max per day per physician seeing 5-8 patients per day, generally seeing 5 patients per day
Volume typically with 2 physicians & mid-levels seeing 20-25 patients
60-90 minutes for new patients 30-45 for follow ups
See patients as needed, open scheduling

Patients age 55 and older
Primary care coordinates care and referral to any other specialties

This program has an interdisciplinary team. Patients have come here to receive healthcare and other services such as;
-   Social Workers
-   Case Management
-   PT, OT
-   Speech therapy
-   Dental care
-   Psychiatry
-   Cardiology
