Physician / Hospitalist - Nocturnist / Maryland / Locum tenens / Locums Hospitalist Need | 1 Hour from DC | Fast Credentialing | Ongoing Availability Job

Catapult Physician Staffing has partnered with a non-profit, community-owned hospital in Maryland that is in need of a locum tenens Hospitalist physician for on-going coverage. An ideal candidate will hold board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine and will have recent/relevant Hospitalist experience. At this time, our client is solely seeking night shift coverage (7p-7a). Below, please find the expected responsibilities of this provider along with additional details regarding the facility.

Assignment Overview:

96-Bed Hospital
Night Shift Only - 7p-7a
Advanced Practitioner Support - 7p-12a
Average Patient Census - 35
Open ICU - 4-6 patients with a pulmonologist who manages vents
Admissions - 6 admits/night
Run Floor Codes
EMR Used - Meditech 6.1
Tele-medicine manages the cross-over for ICU
Specialty Back-Up - Specialists on call 24/7 including Cardio, Ortho, General Surgery, & GI
Requirements:

Board Certified/Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
Active/Unrestricted Maryland State License
Active BlS/ACLS
Procedures Required - Central Lines & Intubations (very rarely performed, but must be comfortable to do so)
6+ Shifts/Month
1 Week Credentialing Timeframe
