Description
Catapult Physician Staffing has partnered with multiple facilities in Virginia that are currently in need of locum tenens Hospitalist physician coverage on an on-going basis. An ideal candidate will hold board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine, and have previous Hospitalist experience. At this time, our clients are seeking day , swing , and night shift coverage. Below, please find brief details regarding provider responsibilities.Locations: Roanoke, Richmond, & Fredericksburg, VA Census: 16-22 patients/day | 7-12 admits/night (depending on facility)
Shift times: 7a-7p | 7p-7a
Open ICUs | No procedures | Strong sub-specialty backup
EMR: Meditech
Hourly Rate: $170-$185/hr – dependent on shift time and experience Requirements: Board Certified/Board Eligible Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
ACLS & BLS, along with NIH Stroke certificate
Active/Unrestricted VA State Medical License
6+ Shifts/Month Benefits: Paid Malpractice Insurance
