Licensed Nurse Practitioner Bel Air MarylandWe are hiring an experienced nurse practitioner to be an active part of our comprehensive team of healthcare professionals. Our ideal candidate has 3 years of combined full-time nurse practitioner experience, excellent verbal and written communication skills, the desire and ability to work as part of a team, is enthusiastic and has a strong desire to help patients get better using an integrative, multi-specialty healthcare model!
We are conveniently located less than 30 minutes from Baltimore and one hour outside of Washington, D.C. The location is family friendly with excellent schools and plenty to do!
Competitive salary plus monthly bonus plan. Full-time position benefits include full healthcare coverage, 401K and PTO. Required:
- Maryland State Nurse Practitioner License
- In Network standing with BCBS and Medicare (Cigna, BC Federal and others preferred as well)
- Present a record of practice including insurance history or malpractice claims
- Have experience or desire to learn about physical medicine, rehabilitation and non-drug therapies
- Excellent experience performing Trigger Point injections (IM not sub-Q or IV), SI Joint injections and Suparts injections
- Present Medicare # (UPIN) or information needed to acquire
- Be open minded to physical medicine, rehab and non-drug therapies Desired qualities:
• Working knowledge of Physical Therapy or Exercise Rehab
• Familiarity with reading and reviewing the following:
• Nerve Conduction Velocities (NCV)
• Somato-Sensory Evoked Potential (SSEP)
• Needle EMG
• Vascular Studies
• Computerized ROM and Muscle testing studies
• Spirometry
• Familiarity with Nutrition
