Locum Tenens Position Details:
Mainly outpatient position but you will need inpatient privileges
Outpatient position (clinic) but will need inpatient privileges as there will be some consults and possible rounding. Must have inpatient experience in last 24 months
Could use full time locum but would like at least 2 weeks a month. Will need until we hire.
M-F 8:30 – 5 (40 hours a week)
No nights, no Call
Only Neuro in hospital as we are recruiting for a perm Neuro.
Cerner EMR.
Volume Expectations 14-18 a day
Things you will see - Epilepsy, headache/ migraines (botox skills nice to have), Parkinson’s disease, dementia/ Alzheimer’s, MS (must be familiar with MS meds), tremors, neuropathy, trigeminal neuralgia, Huntington’s disease. No sleep disorders, no neuro-psych, no neuro-ophthalmology, no patients under 18. EEG’s mandatory, EMG and NCS not as much but nice.
Required: Board Certified (ABMS approved) or Board Eligible (7 years from training).
Required: Active California medical license
