Description
Pediatric Physician Locums Job in Kentucky Details/Requirements:
--Duration: 4-5 months (with potential for extension)
--Coverage needed: weekly, with shared on-call duties
--EMR: Current system is Athena, with plans to transition to Cerner next year
--Work Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (occasional extension until 5:00 PM) Clinic Census:
--Well-side: 15 patients per provider.
--Sick-side: 25-30 patients per provider.
--During peak season, 3 providers on sick side, 1 on well side; in summer, 3 on well side, 1 on sick side.
--Team: You will work alongside 2 Physicians, 2 full-time APPs, and 1 part-time APP.
--Clinic Support: The clinic is fully equipped with a diverse support team including C.N.A's, MAs, CMAs, LPNs, and RNs to assist in patient care.
--On-Call: Weekly coverage required, but on-call duties will be shared with the rest of the team. Ideal Candidate:
--Board Certified Pediatrician
--Experience in both well-child and sick-child care.
--Ability to work collaboratively with other providers and clinic staff.
