PAY: $115-125

Opening: Nurse Practitioner

Position Type: Locum Tenens
Facility: Inpatient and Outpatient
Location: Pennsylvania
Contract Dates: February 24, 2025 - April 30, 2025 (cred timeline 60-90 days)
Hours: 7a-330p or 730a-4p

Details:
Pediatric NP needed to help cover Newborn Nursery after 1/26/25: ASAP start based on credentialing through April.
Emergency/Temp privileges an option.
Must be a Pediatric NP Masters graduate (passed exam).
Breakdown of Practice Dats: 7 days per week, in some rotation with the other APP
Skills Required: Physical assessment of newborns, reviewing labs, interacting with parents regarding newborns' condition, educating parents, etc. APP will work with the pediatrician in the term nursery to manage the care of the newborns and coordinate discharge or the newborns.
Skills preferred (Nice to have but can do without): Blood draws, Preferred urine catheterization

Trauma Level 1
EMR: Cerner
26 Beds

Avg daily census of 15-18 newborns
Support Staff: Physicians, residents, APPs

Credentials: Pediatric NP certified, PA license
Compensation and Benefits: Travel, Housing and Medical Malpractice provided.
