DDS / Dentist / Pennsylvania / Locum tenens / Pediatric Dentist Needed Job

We are seeking a Dentist to provide locum coverage in a dynamic academic and clinical environment. The dentist will supervise residents, perform clinical procedures, and may participate in operating room cases and emergency call coverage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support residents in the dental clinic
• Provide direct patient care (12–14 patients/day in clinic; 5–6/day in OR)
• Perform extractions, full-mouth restorations, and sedation cases
• Cover potential OR time at the main hospital and surgery center
• Participate in emergency telephone call coverage (attending backup to residents)
• EMR: Open Dental (Clinic) and Cerner (Hospital)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Active Pennsylvania license (will consider candidates needing licensure)
• Minimum 1 year of experience
• ACLS and PALS certification
• Sedation license, surgical and trauma experience strongly preferred

Credentialing:

• Temp and emergency privileges available
• Estimated timeline: 6–8 weeks
