Physician / Oncology - Radiation / Illinois / Locum tenens / Radiation Oncologist - Locum Opportunity Job

Overview:

We are seeking a Board-Certified Radiation Oncologist for on-site coverage in Illinois. This is a part-time, short-term locum assignment to cover a physician on vacation. Candidates must be licensed in Illinois (IMLC not accepted) and have current DEA, BLS, and ACLS certifications.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Onsite presence daily to support uninterrupted treatment delivery
• Conduct On-Treatment Visits (OTVs) on Wednesday
• Collaborate with radiation therapists, dosimetrists, and nursing staff
• Monitor and assess patients throughout treatment
• No solo work, no call duties, and no inpatient rounding

Candidate Requirements:

• Board Certified in Radiation Oncology
• Active Illinois medical license
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience
• DEA, BLS, and ACLS required
• Must be available for the full coverage week
