Description
Physician – Minimally Invasive Body Contouring (Outpatient Procedures | Flexible Schedule)NuShape is an outpatient medical practice providing minimally invasive body contouring treatments in a controlled clinical setting. The physician participates directly in select portions of the procedure while trained clinical staff assist with preparation and post-procedure care. This is a procedure-focused role. The physician evaluates patient candidacy, performs designated portions of treatments, and ensures medical safety during sessions. The position does not involve primary care management, chronic disease treatment, prescription management, or routine follow-up care. Procedures are elective, scheduled, and performed on medically screened adults. The workflow is predictable and designed around dedicated treatment blocks rather than traditional clinic visits. The role emphasizes procedural consistency, patient safety, and clear communication rather than high patient complexity. Responsibilities • Perform designated portions of minimally invasive body contouring procedures • Evaluate patient eligibility and contraindications prior to treatment • Obtain informed consent and explain risks and expectations • Provide medical oversight during treatment sessions • Manage minor procedural reactions if they occur • Document procedures and treatment parameters • Collaborate with trained clinical staff assisting with treatments • Follow established safety protocols and clinical guidelines There is no ongoing primary care responsibility, medication management, insurance documentation, or long-term patient management required. Practice Environment Procedures are performed in a calm outpatient setting with pre-screened patients. Treatment days are scheduled in advance and structured into predictable blocks. The physician is not responsible for routine patient messaging, care coordination, or follow-up management outside the treatment session. No call, hospital coverage, or after-hours obligations.

Skills
Prior procedural experience is preferred but not mandatory. Physicians with backgrounds in family medicine, internal medicine, urgent care, sports medicine, pain medicine, vein clinics, dermatology, or other outpatient procedure-based settings typically adapt quickly to this role.Candidates should be comfortable performing repetitive, standardized procedures requiring attention to detail and adherence to protocol. The position emphasizes procedural safety, sterile technique awareness, and patient communication during elective treatments rather than complex medical decision-making. The physician must be comfortable evaluating contraindications, obtaining consent, and managing minor procedure-related reactions. Experience with injections, minor office procedures, or device-based treatments is helpful but not required. Training will be provided for the specific techniques used in the clinic. This role does not require aesthetic practice experience and does not involve cosmetic injectables. It is best suited for physicians who prefer hands-on outpatient procedures in a predictable environment without longitudinal patient management. Physicians seeking flexible procedural work, supplemental income, or a non-hospital clinical setting tend to perform well in this position.

Treatment sessions are scheduled in advance and structured into dedicated procedural blocks, allowing providers to plan around other professional or personal commitments. The role does not involve insurance management, chronic care follow-ups, medication refill requests, inbox management, or long-term patient monitoring. Patients are pre-screened prior to treatment days and clinical staff manage preparation and post-procedure instructions, allowing the physician to focus on procedural care and safety. Training is provided for clinic-specific techniques and workflow. A structured onboarding process ensures comfort with protocols, documentation, and patient communication prior to independent treatment sessions. Malpractice coverage is provided for services performed within the clinic. Supplies, equipment, and support staff are fully furnished. The practice environment is calm, low acuity, and team-oriented. This opportunity is well suited for physicians seeking supplemental income, semi-retired clinicians, or those looking to reduce hospital or high-volume clinic schedules while maintaining hands-on clinical practice.
