Physician / Hospitalist / Florida / Permanent / Hospitalist opportunity in Melbourne, FL Job

We are seeking an experienced, Board-Certified Hospitalist (MD/DO) to join a well-established, physician-managed healthcare organization in Melbourne, Florida. This position provides inpatient care across two nearby hospital campuses located approximately 20 minutes apart.

This is a “round-and-go” opportunity, allowing physicians to complete daily rounds, admissions, documentation, and follow-up care, and depart once all responsibilities are finished.

Schedule

Monday–Friday
One weekend per month
Day shift
Clinical Responsibilities
Manage an average daily census of 20–30 patients
Provide care on the General Med/Surg floor
Optional ICU rounding (not required)
No outpatient responsibilities
No procedures required

A dedicated intensivist team manages all ICU patients, allowing hospitalists to focus on inpatient medical care. Night coverage is supported by advanced practice providers, ensuring a well-supported clinical environment.

Qualifications

MD or DO
Board Certified in Internal Medicine
Experienced physicians only (no new graduates)
Eligible for Florida medical licensure
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary starting at $300,000 (negotiable based on experience)
Total earning potential up to $700,000
