Description
VISTA has an ongoing Neurosurgery Physician Assistant opportunity. Are you available to start as soon as credentialed?
Location: Michigan
Specialist: Physician Assistant
Training: No new graduates
Duration: Ongoing while hiring
Board requirement: Board certified
Schedule: Clinic: Monday-Friday 7:30 - 5 PM.
If covering the weekly OR schedule: 6 AM - 4 PM
When covering the ED/Inpatient rounding /call: 7 Am - 5 PM
Shifts: Days/Call responsibility
Call: 1:4-5 based on availability
Procedures: pre-op physical exam, suture removal, diagnose illnesses, treat illnesses, order tests, assist in surgery, write prescriptions, coordination of care, pre-op spine surgery teaching, EPIC order entry, documentation via EPIC, reading tests will be in conjunction with neurosurgeons
Type of facility: Hospital
Trauma level: 2
EMR: EPIC Systems
License requirement: Must be MI licensed before presentation
Privileges: 45- 60 days
