CARDIOLOGY NURSE PRACTITIONER OR PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT OPPORTUNITY - WILLING TO TRAIN

Cardiology NP/PA Position in NW Phoenix Suburb

Excellent opportunity to join this well-established and highly reputable cardiology practice, dedicated to providing exceptional cardiovascular care to our patients. We are currently seeking a motivated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our dynamic team. This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to work in a combination of clinic and inpatient settings, managing a diverse mix of acute and chronic cardiology cases. Position Overview:

As a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in our group, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing, treating, and managing cardiovascular conditions in collaboration with our experienced physicians. This role encompasses a variety of responsibilities, including clinic consultations, inpatient care, and on-call duty.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive cardiovascular assessments and examinations.
Diagnose and treat a wide range of acute and chronic cardiology cases.
Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement treatment plans.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as EKGs, echocardiograms, and stress tests.
Prescribe medications and provide patient education.
Provide ongoing patient support and follow-up care.
Utilize the GEMMS EMR system specifically designed for cardiology to maintain accurate patient records.
Qualifications:

Current Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant licensure in AZ.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
Strong clinical judgment and decision-making abilities.
Willingness to learn and adapt to our practice's protocols and procedures.

Work Schedule:

Full-time position with a combination of clinic and inpatient work.
One weekend call every 4 weeks with a half day off the following Friday.
Average of 13-16 patients in the hospital per day.
