Hospitalist Needed for Central Vermont- 5 On, 7 Off- Critical Access Hospital

Seeking to hire a new Hospitalist physician. Join our hospital employed group and enjoy working with a supportive team of experienced providers and staff. A rare opportunity to join a committed and seasoned team! Full time opportunity working 5 days on and 10 days off with advanced practitioner support taking first call at night.

o We admit patients over the age of 18 to our hospitalist service and we have a rehab/nursing home facility on campus.

o Radiology services include 24/7 CT, on-call ultrasound availability and daylight/weekday hours for MRI. We are located 30 minutes south of UVM Medical Center and have seamless EMS protocols in place for rapid transfer of our sickest patients.

o The Emergency Department has 10-12 beds with just over 15,000 visits annually. We have an admission/transfer rate of 12% and enjoy in-house support from sub-specialties including OB, Orthopedics, General Surgery, ENT, Ophthalmology, Pediatrics, Urology, and non-invasive Cardiology.
