Description
Catapult Healthcare is currently working directly with a medical group located in Sonora, CA that is looking to hire a Board Certified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner within their clinic. This a great opportunity to be a part of a well respected medical group that places value on a strong work/life balance. Sonora, CA is in close proximity to Yosemite National Park, multiple winter ski resorts, lakes, and has countless other outdoor activities to participate in. This is a full time role, and the details of the role are listed below:-Board Certified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner -Must possess at least 1 year of high volume ER/Urgent Care experience -Work 10 hour shifts in the Emergency Room and Rapid Medical Exam or work 8 and 10 hour shifts at the Urgent Care -Procedures: suturing, stapling, and interpreting x-rays -At least 1 year of experience required -EMR: Cerner -45-80 patients per a day with triple coverage in the ER; 25-50 patients per a day with double coverage in the Urgent Care; average of 2.5 patients per an hour (must be comfortable with this capacity) -Certification Requirements : BLS (for the urgent care role), ATLS, ACLS and PALS (if desiring to work within the ER) -Hospital credentialing takes 45 business days -WILLING TO LICENSE OUT OF STATE PROVIDERS Benefits: -Training, autonomy and development -$1,000 CME reimbursement; one week paid leave for education, paid license, DEA and medical staff dues (increases by $1,000 each year for 3 years) -3 weeks of PTO first year; increases to 5 weeks of PTO by year four -$7,500 no interest loan for moving expenses, forgiven after two years -Paid malpractice insurance -Annual retention bonus -Competitive salary and bonus incentive plan To learn more about this role, or other locum tenens and permanent placement opportunities through Catapult Healthcare across the nation, please apply directly and/or contact Stephen Wood at xxxxxxxxxxx*.
