Location – Southern Colorado
Practice Type- Correctional Medicine (Family Practice)
Start Date – 12/16/2018 - As soon as credentialing is complete
We have an immediate need for a Nurse Practitioner for a Correctional Facility in Southern Colorado. Below are additional details:
- Hours: Four (4) Ten (10) Hours days. Either Monday through Thursday or Tuesday through Friday.
- Nurse Practitioner will be the Primary Provider on shift.
- Physician on site One (1) day a week. Will be provideding Phone Consultation to the Nurse Practitioner.
Facility Overview This facility can house up to 750 offenders who are mostly closed custody inmates. This facility uses incentive programs to modify inmate behavior. This facility offers substance abuse treatment for offenders with drug and alcohol dependencies. Some of the educational opportunities offered by this facility include the ability to earn an adult basic education, and GED. This facility also encourages behavioral modification through a program called thinking for a change.
