Description

If so, Fremont Urgent Care may be the perfect fit for you. Our owner/provider John Giddens, M.D. has led this practice since 1986. Most clinicians have been with us over 10 years. We are seeking an amiable, conscientious physician, D.O, PA-C or NP who is experienced in or willing to learn ambulatory care medicine.Our busy outpatient-only practice includes Urgent Care, Occupational Medicine and Workers’ Compensation. Full-time or part-time options are available weekdays or weekends. Urgent Care: • Provide treatment for acute care, chronic care and preventative care for Pediatrics and Adults. • Experience treating musculoskeletal sprains, strains and fractures. • Laceration repair, minor surgery and wound care. • Perform routine physicals, sports and wellness exams. • Maintain HIPPA compliance and patient confidentiality. • Prescribes medication and treatment for seasonal illnesses. Occupational Medicine/Workers’ Compensation: • Obtains a thorough and complete medical history to evaluate physical limitations for post hire and work-related injuries. • Perform New Hire, DMV & Respirator physical exams. • Determine causation for possible work-related injuries or illnesses. • Manage WC patients by developing, documenting and implementing effective medical treatment. • Evaluate employees’ safe work capability based on physical demands and examination. • Collaborate with clinic specialists, physical therapists and Medical Director. * Easy to learn Galen MD EMR system. * Bilingual in Spanish desirable, but not required. * DOT NRCME certification preferred. * Provides compassionate and communicative care to all patients. * Flexible hours and benefit plan available. * Malpractice Insurance included. * No on-call hours.

Skills
Prefer 1-2 years experience. Salary is competitive and based on experience and credentials.Qualifications: M.D. or D.O. - Must be licensed in the state of California and have a current DEA registration. NP: Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California. Certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) in the State of California. National Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) from an agency accredited by the American Board of Nursing Specialties (ABNS). Current DEA registration. PA-C: Physician Assistant (PA) license in the State of California. Certification as a Physician Assistant (PA) by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). Current DEA registration.
