Physician / Family Practice / New York / Locum or Permanent / Physician Opening with Outpatient VA clinic Job

Enjoy regular hours (M-F 8-4:30) with no weekends, and no after-hours call. 45 min from Syracuse, NY. Auburn is located in the heart of the beautiful Fingerlakes Region.

We will consider short term and long term placements.

Requirements Include:

Possess a Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from an accredited school in US or internationally.
Candidates must have successfully completed a residency program in Family Practice or Internal Medicine with recognition by the American Board of Medical Specialties or the American Osteopathic Association.
Current and unrestricted DEA.
Retain current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA) or the Military Training Network (MTN).
Knowledge of and ability to apply professional medical principles, procedures, and techniques in accordance with the community and VA standards of practice.
Oversee all day-to-day delivery of medical care to patients.
Minimum of one year experience as a licensed physician.
