Description
The Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario invites applications for the position of Full-Time Staff Neurosurgeon, Division of Paediatric Neurosurgery in the Department of Surgery.The successful candidate will join the existing compliment of two full-time Paediatric Neurosurgeons and provide a diverse clinical-academic practice including out-of-hours cover for inpatients, emergencies and trauma. The successful candidate should be eligible for an academic appointment in the Faculty of Medicine, Department of Surgery at the University of Ottawa. The position is available as of January 1st, 2020. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Skills
Applicants are required to have a Fellowship in Paediatric Neurosurgery and be eligible for licensure in the Province of Ontario.Applicants should have a proven record of excellence in clinical care and teaching. The Hospital prefers a candidate with at least 3 years’ experience in independent neurosurgical practice. It is desired that applicants exhibit a skill set, which will augment the service delivery of the current Division and demonstrate a commitment to clinical research. Functionality in French is an asset but not a requirement.
