Description
Southern Illinois University School of Medicine/Department of Internal Medicine is seeking a Chief of Infectious Diseases to serve as Assistant/Associate/Full Professor of Infectious Diseases. This is an excellent opportunity to join an already well established and reputable program made up of 4 stellar Infectious Diseases physicians. The division has an Infectious Diseases Fellowship Program and is actively running clinical and basic science research with clinical researchers and active research labs. Clinical service includes inpatient consultative service and an outpatient Infectious Diseases Clinic. The Department of Internal Medicine is committed to the mission of the School of Medicine to assist the people of central and southern Illinois in meeting their health care needs through education, patient care, research and service to the community. Memorial Medical Center is a 500-bed community hospital that serves the community and is a teaching site for SIU SOM.
