Seeking an experienced Endocrinologist/ teacher/ scholar to direct the system wide endocrine program. The Lead Physician is responsible for the strategic visualization and leadership of all operations for the Department of Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism.

The position involves patient care, administrative leadership duties, teaching of residents and supervision of Internal and Family Medicine Residents, and opportunities for research in collaboration with clinical research division.

Lead Physician will serve as the administrative leader providing direction in operational financial performance, recruitment, strategic planning, retention and oversight.

Clinical Program Development
   Create a single system division of Endocrinology with the appropriate clinical infrastructure to achieve financial and clinical quality goals. This would include a unified approach to financial reporting, quality reporting, Recruitment, practice operations and practice norms.
   Develop a strategic growth plan in the following areas of endocrinology: Metabolism, Obesity, Neuro-endocrine, Pituitary and Adrenal surgical and non-surgical services, Thyroid disorders, Endocrine Oncology
   Develop a system structure for Diabetes Education
   Develop standards for primary care providers with respect to community guidelines on best practices in the care and management of patients with varying endocrine disorders.

Educational Program Development
   Establish a Residency training curriculum
   Explore the possibility of developing a Fellowship program for Endocrinology

Research Program Development
   Establish a clinical research strategy in partnership with the Clinical research division
   Promote Publications across the division

Population Health
   Develop population health initiatives to improve the outcomes for patients with endocrine based disease processes

Qualifications: At least 5 years of Experience in a leadership role and evidence of experience in building programs
