$230/hr Intensivist Locum Opportunity in Western, GA

SMART is an established staffing company seeking seeking BC, CC candidates to provide Intensivist coverage at a facility near Weracoba Heights, Georgia.

• Locum Rate: $230/hour (7p-7a)
  • – paid mileage, lodging, and malpractice insurance with tail coverage
• Staffing Model: 1 physician; 2 APCs during the day, 1 physician; 1 APC during the night
• Patient Encounters: 30 encounters/night
• Procedures: Core ICU procedures: Deep lines, Arterial lines, thoracentesis, paracentesis, etc. bronchoscopy – not needed for nights
• Specialty Board Requirement: Critical Care Required
• ICU: Closed
• Sub-specialties: Most specialties available
• Codes: Not handled by locums, would expect backup for floor to ICU transfer
• Facility Beds:376
  • ICU Beds: 28
• EMR: Sorian
• Credentialing Timeframe: 120, temp/emergency privileges can be granted
