Join a staff of 13 physicians including Internal Medicine, Family Practice and Psychiatry plus 1 PA-C and 2 ANPs. A growing medical group practice providing inpatient and outpatient services to patients on the north side and near west suburban areas of Chicago.

Employed staff has privileges at 8 acute care hospitals, 35 SNFs, 2 LTACHS, 3 psychiatric hospitals and several ASFs.

Rounding on both inpatients in acute care hospitals and providing medical care to inpatient mental health patients at a psychiatric hospital.

Position Responsibility Outline:
    Full time 40 hours per week (7 to 9 hour work day) Monday through Friday, no weekends
    75% assignment to admitting, rounding on and discharging inpatients at affiliated SNFs and 25% assignment to rounding on inpatients admitted to hospitals. (Primarily a SNF Hospitalist role)
    Participation in developing and providing medical coverage of Transitional Care Units (TCUs) within Skilled Nursing Facilities.  Also, potential opportunity for medical director role of a TCU
    ER call once a month
