Requirements:

• Employed position
• Board Certified/Board Eligible (Must become BC within 7 years of completing training)
• Position will include both inpatient focused rehab programs- Provide Inpatient support for two existing physicians
• Medical director requirements and responsibilities include:
  • Onsite unit supervision 20 hours a week
  • Evaluation of every patient three times a week
  • Participation in interdisciplinary care planning meetings two times a week
  • Assessment of criteria prior to admission (Physician Assessment Screening)
  • Documentation of required rehab criteria in rehab plan of care
  • Discharge planning with appropriate disposition
