An additional pediatric cardiologist to join an established group within the Division of Cardiology and the Department of Pediatrics at a Childrens Hospital. Applicants must be board certified/eligible in Pediatric Cardiology. General responsibilities will include clinical care, teaching, and research.


Non-Invasive Cardiologist

We are seeking an additional non-invasive cardiologist at the Assistant Professor level to assist our current faculty with the growing number of echocardiographic procedures performed at our institution. Experience in performing and interpreting transthoracic, transesophageal and fetal echocardiograms is required. Additional duties will include inpatient coverage on a rotating basis and outpatient clinic responsibilities. An interest in clinical research is encouraged.

Cardiology outpatient services are provided in the Dorothy and Larry Dallas Heart Center, as well as at a number of outreach sites throughout the region. An active congenital heart surgery program exists, and the hospital houses state-of-the-art operating rooms, a hybrid cardiac catheterization lab, a newly expanded pediatric intensive care unit, and a 70-bed neonatal intensive care unit. The Doisy Research Center, a 10-story tower housing the Health Sciences Center Research laboratories, is located nearby.
