General Surgeon needed in southcentral, Virginia to join an established multi-specialty physician group which employs 3 General Surgeons and 1 APP. The group has an increased demand for new patients with no scheduled openings to provide surgical care to the community.

Senior physician plans his retirement within the next year and will be engaging in an ongoing sabbatical to continue his passion for missionary work. The most recent surgeon to join the practice has ramped up into a thriving practice within the last 6 months and no longer has room for the added volume. Group currently employs 40+ providers on the Hospital Campus & 25+ providers on another campus.

The new GS will share a newly renovated state of the art multi -specialty clinic on the Hospital campus. The General Surgery Group does not currently provide endoscopy services and will be a well-established referral source.
