PhD or PsyD psychology faculty to join a rapidly growing Behavioral Health Department. Funding has been secured to support this growth initiative and allow us to double the size of the psychology faculty.

General Adult Psychology
Psychology – Substance Abuse
These positions will work with medical specialists in family medicine, oncology, pediatrics, and other specialties to provide collaborative, multi-disciplinary care to our patient population.

Child & Adolescent Psychology
The Child & Adolescent Psychologist will provide a broad range of clinical services in a busy outpatient clinic. Assessment, psychotherapy and consultation will be provided to a diverse patient base, as well as an opportunity to provide telepsychology services to other hospitals in the region.

Ideal candidates will have an interest in an academic career which includes clinical work, teaching, and scholarly activity. Our APA-accredited internship with 10 interns in 2019 and postdoctoral fellowships are an integral part of our graduate medical education program. Candidates must be eligible for a faculty position at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor rank. A Texas license is required.
