Description
We are looking for remarkable Physician Assistants who provide compassionate and high-quality care to both urgent care and occupational medicine patients. Our Providers treat patients “on the spot” meaning that patients will not make extra trips, wait in another line, or pay multiple co-pays.
Physician Assistants also perform a wide range of procedures such as digital blocks, regional anesthesia, closed reductions of fractures, dislocations, application of braces, casts, & splints, and minor outpatient surgical procedures such as tendon repair, wound closure and management, incision and drainage, and needle biopsy, aspirations and joint injections.
The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively and courteously interact with patients, families, clients, and co-workers. The Providers must be proficient with using computers, have experience with Electronic Medical Records Systems, and the ability to adjust to the ever-changing patient flow while keeping up the amazing work.

Skills
Requirements for Consideration:
•  Master's Degree
•  Certified Physician Assistant license
•  Current Illinois medical license (or the ability to attain)
•  DEA & Illinois Substance Control license (BNDD) - with no restrictions
•  At least 1 year of experience as a Physician Assistant in an Emergency Medicine or Urgent Care setting
     (excluding student clinical rotations)
•  Basic knowledge of Emergency, Internal, Family, Generalist, and Occupational Medicine procedures
•  Ability to operate medical equipment (Nebulizer, EKG machine, etc.)
•  Manual dexterity for clinical requirements and the ability to lift 50lbs
