Practice Overview:

– Employed by 99 bed community hospital providing care to 12 counties
– Average retention across all specialties over 9 years
– Joining 2 pediatricians in established practice- Ability to see 25-30 patients per day
– 6 bed inpatient unit averages 100 annual admissions
– Hospital averages 550 births per year (share newborn responsibility with FPs)
– Level 2 nursery
– Not required to attend routine C-Sections
– Hospitalist and ER support in place
– 1:3 Call

Compensation Overview:

– Guaranteed median salary plus WRVU incentives
– Current providers demonstrate income of 350k plus
– 100K student loan assistance
– Residency stipends
– Sign on and relocation up to $50,000
– 5 Days CME with $4,000 allowance
– Comprehensive benefits
– Retirement: 3 percent employer contribution plus additional 50 percent match up to 8 percent
