Description
Locums, Inc. is seeking Family Medicine Physicians for Part-time services working with at-risk youth in the south of Memphis, TN. We are seeking a sensitive Physician with experience understanding and encouraging youth in need of direction.
About the Opportunity:
- Period of Performance is approx. 5/1/21 to 10/31/21 with 4 Option years
- Shift will be about 5 hours, 1 day a week, holidays excluded
- Providers will mainly perform patient examinations, immunizations, disease screening, diagnosis, treatment, and medical advisement of center management
- Physician will be responsible for directing actions of a midlevel provider (PA or NP)
- Located in the south of Memphis, TN near the border with Mississippi
- Malpractice Insurance provided
Requirements:
- Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Pediatric Specialties
- Active and unrestricted Tennessee License
- Active and unrestricted DEA
- Full vaccinations and immunizations
- References
- Experience treating youth in a school or college setting
- Admission and Attending Privileges at a local hospital (preferred)
