Schedule: Sunday - Monday Shifts: 6a-6p, or 6p-6a Amount of coverage per month: varies Weekday Call Requirements: varies Collegial collaboration with neurocritical care advanced practice providers who will work with the provider during the daytime and on some night shifts. ICU Locums Needed as back up during summer when staff on leavePatient Volume: Closed Neuro ICU model, but overflow into multiple other units based on patient volume and bed availability, with Neurocritical Care primary team taking complete responsibility for the patients (not local ICU team). Average number of patients seen on a daily basis is 15-20. Patient Population: Adults. Primary admitting service for all patients post MER and other neurocritical care diagnoses except TBI. Neurocritical care provides all neurology consults to patients in other ICUs as well including neuro prognostication. EPIC EMR experience required Other technologies used: InTouch, VIA Ai Required Certifications: ACLS, ENLS Preferred: Board Certified in Neurology, fellowship or equivalent experience in neurocritical care *Special Skills Required* Ability to perform central line placement, arterial line placement, lumbar puncture, ventilator management, endotracheal intubation (Anesthesia available 24/7 in house as back up), and the ability to read CTA head and neck for identification of large vessel occlusion for MER decision making.
**Must have worked inpatient within the last 90 days. ZERO malpractice issues**
