Description
Locums, Inc. is seeking caring and nurturing Pediatric Physicians for Inpatient and Outpatient coverage at the IHS Hospital located in Shiprock, NM. Located on the Navajo Nation and serving the Navajo tribe, the Northern Navajo Medical Center serves to provide patients with access to full outpatient clinic services and hospital care if needed. All state and Federal licenses accepted at all government facilities.
About the Opportunity:
- Pediatrician will be directly responsible for providing patient care in the Pediatric outpatient clinic/inpatient unit, Labor and Delivery, Nursery, and Emergency Department while adhering to the policies and procedures of the Pine Ridge Hospital
- Period of performance will be from 6/17/21 to 8/1/21
- Daily weekly schedule is 8am to 5pm.
- Provider will have to be on-call 2 to 4 times over the course of the assignment
- Weekday, Weekend, and Holiday On-call shared with partnering Pediatrician
- Hourly Compensation and Malpractice coverage provided
- Travel, lodging and Per Diem provided
- Located in Shiprock, NM
Requirements:
- Active and unrestricted state or Federal license
- Active and unrestricted DEA
- Active BLS, ACLS, PALS, and ATLS Certifications
- Current vaccinations and immunizations
- 3 Letters of Reference from supervisors and peers
