The region’s only Comprehensive Stroke Center is adding a Neuro-Interventionalist to their staff.

Join a multidisciplinary team including 2 Neuro Hospitalists, 8 Neurologists, 7 Neurosurgeons, 2 Neuroradiologists and a senior Neuro-Interventional Neurologist who shares Neuro-Interventional call.

Participate in multidisciplinary conferences, quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the teaching of medical students and residents. Qualifications and details include:
Ideal candidates will be fellowship trained (endovascular surgical neuroradiology, interventional neuroradiology, Neuro Endovascular surgery)
Typical cases include acute stroke intervention, brain aneurysm embolization, carotid revascularization, fistula treatment, spine procedures, diagnostic angiography, cerebral venous procedures and thrombolysis
Candidates should have a broad Neuro-Interventional skill set with a willingness to learn new techniques, participate in new procedures and evolve as a Neuro-Interventionalist
Excellent interpersonal skills and collaborative disposition
A desire to teach medical students, residents, and staff
Interest in participating in research
