Description
The PA-C Cardiothoracic Surgery locum tenens opportunity in Indiana…
-Location: Indiana (1 hr from Chicago)
-Duration: July20 - Ongoing
-Schedule: 7on/7off, evening call on your "On" weeks
-Scope: Inpatient Rounding (5-10 pts/day), Outpatient clinic support, 1st assist in Surgery. MUST have Vein Harvesting experience.
-Procedures: Procure conduit for coronary artery bypass surgery, First assist in surgery, Arterial lines, Central lines, Place Swan Ganz catheters, Perform thoracentesis , Place and remove intra-aortic balloons, Place and remove chest tubes, Provide pre- and post-operative care.
-Affiliated Hospital: 192 beds, level III trauma center, EPIC EMR
-Required: Must have active IN license, DEA and CSR. Must have 2+ years of PA Cardiothoracic Surgery 1st assist experience with a clean background for expedited privileges.
