Internal Medicine GME - Southeastern Alabama

• Hospital employed practice seeks a BC/BE Internist to join their faculty
• Salary: $225,000+ commensurate with experience plus productivity bonus
• Faculty physician to resident ratio 1:4
• Clinic hours: Monday - Friday 8 am to 5 pm. Protected administrative time provided
• Recruit, interview, and select residents. Each class has 16 residents. 
• Each resident will have 1 half day continuity clinic when on wards each week. When in research or elective, they will have 2 half days of clinic/week. There is no clinic during ICU, night float, or EM
• No weekend, holiday, or call requirements
• Clinic is located on hospital campus
• Ideal candidate will be proficient in basic outpatient procedures
• Opportunity to participate in Noon Conference Lecture series, GME Program Committees, and Quality Improvement projects for those interested in clinical education and scholarly activity
