Description
Medcare Staffing is currently seeking an Interim Medical Director for locum tenens in Atlanta, GA. This is an independent contractor opportunity for full -time.
• September 1 start
• Monday-Friday
• Work 30-60 days with option for permanent placement.
• Provide oversight of clinical operations including direct supervision of 2 NPs and 3 PAs and the planning and coordination of medical services
o Review 10% of charts
• Review and respond to labs from immunization efforts and nursing standing orders
• Provide on-call consultation during clinic hours
• Assist with the development, review and approval of policies and procedures
• Manage inquiries from the campus community
• Complete payroll and timesheets for clinical staff including leave approval
• Provide oversight of clinic staff schedules and coverage
• Assist in the hiring and review of clinic staff
• Campus point of contact and lead on COVID mitigation efforts
o Participate in leadership meetings
o Provide oversight of COVID testing, vaccination, and case investigationAs always we cover your malpractice. Qualifications
