Hospital in the heart of the Vermont Green Mountains is looking for an Acute Care or Adult Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their Hospitalist team. This hospital is the second largest hospital in Vermont with133 licensed beds. Their experienced staff has served the community since 2000 and work closely with numerous specialists, clinical support staff, and community partners to deliver expert care to their patients. The Hospitalist admissions’ team consists of a Hospitalist and a Nurse Practitioner to support their ED with needs of those patients requiring admission to the hospital. In addition to supporting the Admitter the NP or PA assists the Inpatient Rounding teams as needed to meet patient needs on a daily basis. Requirements:
Minimum Education: Master’s Degree in Nursing or Graduate of an American Medical Association approved Physician Assistant educational Program.
Must have 2 years of Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant experience in Hospital Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Gerontology
Department specific certifications as required (ACLS, TNCC, PALS, ENPC, CPI) per specific department operational framework.
