Description
ICON Medical Network is working with an incredible client who is currently seeking an Adult Inpatient Psychiatrist for locums opportunities in Salem, OR!START: ASAP
SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday, working 8-5 PM, no call or weekends - Flexible schedule for possible 4/10hr days
TRAVEL: Lodging, rental and flights are all covered
BENEFITs: Malpractice insurance is covered
ASSIGNMENT: Locums Tenens minimum of 3 month assignment, prefers 6 months
Adult Psychiatrist Job Summary: Needs are for adult inpatient hospital
Acuity level varies on each unit
Not responsible for seeing each patient daily as most are long term stay due to severe mental illness
EMR is Avatar (some paper documenting)
Responsibilities include evaluations, med checks, consults, and working with the treatment team
Attend a six day thorough orientation program
Qualifications: Inpatient Psychiatry experience – comfortable with severely mentally ill patients
Board Eligible or Certified is acceptable
DEA and ACLS
