Description
The locum tenens opportunity in California…
-Duration: March – December, 2022 (per your availability)
-Location: 45 minutes south of Sacramento, CA
-Schedule: 4-14 shifts per month
-Shift: 7a-7a (pager taken from hotel)
-Scope: Depending on your case logs and training (Vascular only, Cardiothoracic or Cardiovascular)
-Currently being performed Cardio, thoracic, peripheral vascular, minimally invasive, amputations shared with orthopedic surgeon, CABG, Carotid, AAA, Fem Pop, NO TAVR
-Volume: 70-80 cases per month
-EMR: Cerner
-Group: 2 other cardiothoracic/vascular surgeons
-Support: intensivist on 24/7 and take first call, 1:4 physician to APP ratio (PAs first assist and round, NPs round, NP in office), 25 interventional cardiologists
-Hospital: Level I trauma center, 350 beds
-Required: Board certification with California license
