Description
Locum Hospitalist needed for Day shift and call at night.
-Coverage: Hospitalist
-Dates: March/April Start
-Credentialing takes 30-45 days
-License: Prefer WY license. Will review candidates who -need WY license
-Work Schedule: 10 shifts per month needed days 7a-7p then call 7p-7a: phone triage. 1-3 calls per night.
-Physician sometimes will return to the hospital specifically with ICU admits.
-Back-up: Anes and GS back-up NO- take off
Solo position
-Required Procedures/Skills: Vent management, central lines and intubation required
Must be comfortable with codes
No work around
-Prefer BC, but BE okay
-Additional Board Information: IM/FM
-EMR: - EMR is HMS Med Host and CPOE (computerized physician order entry), ER system is separate
-DEA Required: Yes
-Controlled Substance Permit Required-Worksite Information: 70 bed facility. Patients are typically transferred to Wyoming Medical Center in Casper, Wyoming. 2 air EMS services available, must be comfortable working in a solo independent caring for patients setting with minimal specialty support. Sub specialists available phone.
