We are seeking a board-eligible/board-certified Urology physician to become part of a multi-specialty group. The practice is located in a Professional Office Building associated with an acute care medical center.Key Clinical Responsibilities Provide inpatient/outpatient consultations
55% outpatient, 45% inpatient and OR time at a Surgery Center
Respond to inpatient consultation requests within 24 hours
Office hours Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 8am – 12pm
MRI, CT, lab and x-ray onsite
Great communication and interpersonal skills
Serve and work with a diverse group of colleagues and patients
Work with a collaborative, communicative group of physicians and midlevels
Robust referral sources
Opportunity to work in a teaching environment; Family Medicine, Physician Assistants, and, 3rd and 4th year medical students
Administrative Responsibilities Participate and coordinate appropriate patient care conferences and staff support services
Complete all documentation and charting on the same day or shift as the clinical service rendered
Bill for direct patient care activity and submit billing documentation on the same day or shift as the clinical service rendered
Fluency in Spanish desired
Qualifications Medical Degree from an accredited medical school
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology
Current California State Medical License to practice medicine without restriction
Current DEA certificate required
A proven track record providing exceptional patient care
