Join a Private group Psychiatry group with 25 Physicians which utilizes TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation) as one of their tools. The group has over 7 locations in Northern California with plans to open 2 new locations in 2018. They provide a modern evidence-based medicine approach to mental health care.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Psychiatrist to gain experience working in a modern outpatient practice, with the unique ability to train under thought leaders in TMS therapy. Physicians provide patients with general Psychiatric medication management services, psychotherapy as well as TMS therapy.

TMS neuromodulation and certification preferred, but will provide training leading to certification

See ~12 patient / day
1 hour intake
20 minute follow up
Can work 4 days / week
36 hours is full time

Role & Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations that include evaluation of mental status, current psychiatric symptoms and functioning, as well as psychiatric and other relevant health histories
Develop treatment plans utilizing therapies based on evidence-based standards of care
Monitor and continuously improve patient outcomes.
Provide timely and accurate charting of clinical encounters utilizing EMR
Accurately code clinical encounters with CPT and diagnosis codes
Participate in a minimum of ten hours per year of continuing education in the field of TMS therapy
