Brewer, Maine: We invite a friendly Family Medicine Physician to join a popular, well-established primary care practice in this inviting suburb adjacent to Bangor, Maine’s third largest city. This progressive practice is managed by the state’s largest FQHC / community health center system, with nearly 1000 employees – including over 200 clinical providers – across 17 practice sites and service locations.

You will join an excellent team of over two dozen healthcare providers in a modern, standalone medical services building offering outpatient primary care, walk-in/urgent care, mental health, physical therapy and other services to thousands of area residents. Enjoy an interesting, challenging and rewarding practice caring for patients of all ages. You may choose a four- or five-day/week schedule (40 hours).

Newly trained physicians are encouraged to apply.

You will respect the mission of this organization – to provide comprehensive, integrated primary health care for all. Practice with people who believe healthcare is a human right and become part of a collegial team that prioritizes patient access and quality care. In this highly supportive environment, you will be welcomed by the staff and appreciated by the patients.

You will earn a guaranteed salary (with regularly scheduled increases) along with benefits including paid relocation assistance, paid federal liability insurance, health and dental insurance, generous paid time off, a budget for your CME – and assistance with your medical education debt.

Scenic Maine proudly earns the nickname, “Vacationland” – a pristine, rejuvenating playground where visitors from around the world choose to spend their leisure time. Enjoy the many parks, beaches and mountains offering peace, beauty and relaxation.

Brewer is a city of 10,000 across the river from Bangor – a historic community featuring an international airport, shopping malls and theatres, dozens of restaurants, a wonderful children’s museum, a symphony orchestra, a casino/hotel, summer concerts and annual music festivals on the riverfront, and much more. Greater Bangor is home to over 100,000 people. This community offers superb public schools, family-friendly neighborhoods, and a low crime rate – some of the reasons Bangor is rated as one of the best cities in the US in which to raise a family.
