Description
VISTA is representing a leading regional healthcare system, in the desirable Sunbelt location and capital city, Montgomery, Alabama. We are currently seeking a BE/BC Gastroenterologist to assume an existing practice as part of the multi-specialty service line. Benefits of this full-time permanent position include:
Practice Benefits:
* Must do both ERCP and EUS
* Employed GI practice with 4 additional physicians
* 6 General Surgeons at hospital
* Integrated EMR system
* Physicians have full autonomy in the way they structure their schedule
* Average 40-45 patients/week in clinic
* 9-10 scopes in a day
* GI is a consult only service - on call weeks, the physicians average 4-10 consults/day. The physicians only do consults during their on-call weeks, unless they choose to round on their own patients
* Call shared between the employed GIs and 2 private practice GIs. The groups have a very collegial relationship, currently call is 1 in 5, once another GI is hired the call will be 1 in 6 weeks
* Call starts Monday at 7a and ends the following Monday at 7a

* Fast turnover times in the Surgery Center endoscopy suite
* Compensation Package Overview:
Base Guarantee 2 Years, Quarterly production bonus structure wRVU ,Sign On/Commencement Bonus
