NP / Hospitalist / North Carolina / Locum or Permanent / Hospitalist Needed in North Carolina Job

We are seeking a Board Certified  APP Hospitalist to provide coverage as soon as credentialed.  Night shifts 7p - 7a. Minimum of two years’ experience. 

Inpatient only

Duties - triage calls from nurses, round on unstable patients, sometimes accept patients to the service from the ICU

Consults handled by NP/PA with physician back up
Level 1 Trauma Center
No ICU/Critical Care Procedures
Hospitalists Do Not Run Codes
Inpatient Census: 300
Average admissions: 8-9/provider/night
Night coverage: # of Physicians 3 # of APPs 4
No call, patients covered by 3 MDs, 2 APPS in house
EMR=EPIC

7/1-3
7/14-23
7/26-31

Aug
8/1-27
8/30-31

Sept
9/1-5
9/8-20
12 hour shifts  7pm to 7am

Required certifications- BLS and ACLS
Must have North Carolina license
