Description
- Practice Details
- Children's Emergency Department is seeking a Pediatric Emergency Medicine physician for one of the busiest Pediatric ED's in the state
- 17 bed pediatric ED
- Twelve (12) twelve (12) hour shifts a month
- Shift hours: 7a-7p and 7p-7a
- All doctors work day and night shifts, depending on contract
- Resident 24 hour coverage except on Wednesday. Wednesday is 16 hour coverage
- Daily Census: approximately 100
- Compensation and Benefits
- Fair market compensation plus generous benefits including paid malpractice, CME time and allowance, quarterly bonus, health, dental and other desirable beneifts

- Close proximity to mountains and coast
- Requirements
- Required procedures: intubation, suture, trauma, LP
- Preference is Pediatric Emergency fellowship trained, but will consider EM or general pediatrics with pediatric ED experience
- North Carolina license required
